Data Engineer Lead
Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will spearhead the design, development, and implementation of our data infrastructure and engineering strategies. You will play a critical role in ensuring our platform can seamlessly integrate, process, and analyze data from various sources to deliver actionable insights and drive business impact.
Responsibilities
- Data Architecture & Design: Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architecture and infrastructure to support our AI-powered revenue platform.
- Integration: Develop and maintain robust data pipelines to integrate data from various sources including Salesforce, HubSpot, Stripe, and others.
- Data Quality & Governance: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data through rigorous quality checks and governance practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance our data engineering practices and tools.
- Optimization: Optimize data processing workflows and performance to ensure real-time data collection and metric tracking.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of leading complex data projects.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in SQL, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data integration. Proficiency with tools such as Apache Kafka, Airflow, or similar technologies.
- Programming: Strong coding skills in Python, Java, or Scala. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and their data services is highly desirable.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail and data quality.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading teams, managing projects, and mentoring engineers.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
